How to swap a face in a photo or GIF
Add a clear photo of one person under Source face. Under Target image or GIF, choose the photo or animation you want to put that face into. Pick a style, confirm that you have permission to edit the images, and select Swap Faces.
Keep this page open while the swap runs. When the result appears, you can open a larger preview, download it, or find the saved copy in My Creations.
Use a source photo where the face is easy to see. If the target contains several faces, the tool selects one automatically; there is no manual face selector.
Use a GIF from the captions gallery
If you've found a GIF you like in the captions gallery, open it and select Put my face on this caption. It will load here as your target, ready for you to add a face photo. You can also upload both files yourself.
Choose the finish that suits your image
We built this for SissyFeed's photos and GIFs, with a focus on clean edges and natural skin texture. The four styles let you choose a softer blend or bring out more facial detail.
Natural balances blending and detail. Start here if you want the face to fit the original image without a heavily sharpened finish.
Soft gives the face a smoother finish with less emphasis on fine texture.
Sharp brings out more facial detail. It's a useful choice for a crisp photo where a softer face would look out of place.
Sharpest puts the most emphasis on detail. Try it for larger images you expect to view close up, and allow a little more processing time.
Supported files and upload limits
Use a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image for the source face. The target can be any of those formats or an animated GIF. For a GIF face swap, upload the animation as the target and a still photo as the source.
Each file can be up to 20 MB. The limit applies separately to the source and target; larger uploads are rejected before they are sent for processing.
Your face swaps are private to this browser
We do not have access to your uploads or finished swaps. Your results are kept in this browser.
Your results won't appear in another browser or on another device. It will disappear when you clean your browser data or delete them from creations page.
In a normal window, your results are saved in My Creations on this browser.
A private window works differently. Safari shows the result on this page, but it does not save it in My Creations. Download it before you leave. Chrome does save it while that private window stays open. Close every private window, and those saved results are gone too.
Clearing this site's browser data removes everything. Download any results you want to keep before clearing it.
Use faces you have permission to edit
This tool is for adults. You must have the rights to use both files and the consent of anyone whose face you edit. Finding a photo online doesn't give you that permission. The consent box must be checked before a swap can run.
